HS Consultancy Limited (UK)
‘Supporting Transformation: Disrupting with gentleness’
Our Philosophy
We provide evidence-based training courses, facilitate listening events and provide project management support on social justice, equity and inclusion. Most customers are in the health and social care sector and may be statutory, voluntary sector or community groups and organisations.
Our training courses are scholarly, participatory, engaging and good natured.
We use participatory approaches. We facilitate the sharing of expertise and power so that work benefits from multiple perspectives and there are maximum possibilities for learning.
Our approaches to all aspects of our services are designed to support transformation, both for individuals and organisations. We use approaches that generate new ways of being and of fulfilling roles.
We incorporate systemic and structural analysis of social injustice. We have an intersectional approach, taking account of overlapping causes of injustice and we make explicit connections between different forms of inequality.
Most of all, our work is impactful, in qualitative and quantitative evidence that organisations change as a result.

Services
HS Consultancy provide the following Training, Services and Publications...
Training
HS Consultancy is largely recognised as one of the most impactful training providers in England in the field of equity, antiracism, unconscious bias, equity and decolonisation, with the mental health specific and broader health and social care sector.
Consultancy
Typically, we are commissioned to fill gaps in expertise or capacity or both. Most projects play to our strengths in understanding causes and potential steps to progress in relation to inequalities based on the protected characteristics.
Facilitation
You may have poor staff survey results, disappointing performance in well-being indicators or concerns expressed by particular demographics within your workforce. Whilst we work across all protected characteristics, we have a particular expertise in facilitating spaces in relation to variations by race and ethnicity.

Testimonial
Hári’s work with Julian Support over the last year has had a profound and far-reaching impact on us all. His expertise, honesty, integrity and compassion has been inspirational.
He has worked closely with us to develop and implement our anti-racism strategy; guiding us through deep personal reflection and supporting us to identify and dismantle the systems that allow racism to persist within organisational structures.
As a result of Hári’s work with us, I truly believe Julian Support will be a better organisation for the people we employ, the people we work support, and our community.
Director of Development & Partnership Services.
